from Route 84 eastbound
Take exit 10, the last exit before the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge.
At the light at the end of the ramp, turn right onto Rte.
9W southbound. At the next light, turn left (by the Finklestein
Law Firm). This is North Plank Rd. (no street sign), which
becomes North Street, Leroy Place and Water Street. Proceed
on this road and you will be driving parallel to the Hudson
River. Turn right on Colden Street.
from Route 84 westbound
After you cross the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, take exit 10S
(the second exit after the bridge). Bear right; proceed to
the traffic light and turn right onto Rte. 9W southbound.
At the next light (by the Finklestein Law Firm), turn left
onto North Plank Road. This road has no street sign. Proceed
on this road and you will be driving toward and then parallel
to the Hudson River. Turn right on Colden Street.
from Route 32 North
Follow Route 32 (North Plank Rd.) southbound until you come
to Rte. 9W (by the Lexus Diner)) where you will turn right.
At this point the two routes merge; follow the directions
directly below: "From Route 9W North"
from Route 9W North (traveling
southbound to Newburgh):
After the Bridge overpass, turn left at the second light (by
the Finklestein Law Firm). This road has no street sign. Proceed
on this road and you will be driving toward and then parallel
to the Hudson River. Turn right on Colden Street.
from Route 9W South and Route 32 South
(traveling northbound to Newburgh)
Follow either route northbound. When you come to Broadway
(Rte. 17K), turn right. Proceed through the City of Newburgh
(you will be heading towards the river) and turn left onto
Grand St. (Key Bank is on the corner.)
from the New York State Thruway
Take exit 17. After the tollbooth, bear right and follow the
signs to Rte. 84 East. Take exit 10, the last exit before
the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. At the end of the ramp, turn right
onto Rte. 9W southbound. At the next light, turn left (by
the Finklestein Law Firm), onto North Plank Road. This road
has no street sign. Proceed on this road and you will be driving
toward and then parallel to the Hudson River. Turn right on
Colden Street.
by Train
From Grant Central, take the Metro-North/Hudson
Line train to Beacon (which is on the east side of the
river). From the Beacon Station it’s about a 10 minute/$10
cab ride to Newburgh.
